We are so excited to be bringing back our annual “Splash For The Kids” Powerboat Poker Run for the fourth year in a row! If you did not catch it last summer, this year’s charity event will be a day you cannot miss! Mark your calendars for June 20, 2026 fast boats, a poker run, prizes, entertainment, food & drinks, and charity.

The co-founders are two long-time boating industry business owners—Chip Miller of Miller Marina, and Eric Lafata of Lafata Custom Paint. Both of these men lost their fathers unfortunately at an early age. This has led them to support other children who have lost their parents.

At our last poker run, over 200 people attended in over 40 fast boats! While thoroughly enjoying the fantastic weather day and making new friends, we were able to raise over $20,000 and the proceeds benefitted Tennessee Children’s Home.

This year, Chip, Eric, and Chef Bobby plan to increase the visibility for the “Splash for the Kids” event by hosting our poker run event at HOOK in St. Clair Shores, and a few other stops along the way. Proceeds from this year’s events will be going toward St. Jude to help give financial support to children in need of medical services.
